Real talk guys, I am not diggin’ this heat right now. Summer is winding down, shouldn’t it be getting cooler? Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love summer, in fact it’s my favorite season. Flip flops, ice cream, barbecues, pretending I’m too bougie to swim when in reality I don’t know how… But this 80 degree nonsense has turned me into a sweaty droopy hot mess with a burnt nose. You know how tourists in movies put gobs of sunscreen on their noses? Like to the point that they resemble a bagel with cream cheese? Yeah, I get it now. The burnt nose look ain’t cute. At all. Plus I’ve got flip flop tan and it seems like every body part is a different shade of brown due to varying sun exposure. Looking like a bag of those chocolate skittles. I’m ’bout to be out here like…
To beat the Summer heat, my mom and I always make piña coladas. They’re quick, easy and very refreshing for those hot summer days.
